Audit your congress person

Was reading Hypebot this morning and discovered some online petition links against the increased royalty rates facing internet webcasters. In a previous post, I had suggested that internet radio - upon the advent of universal wi-fi - would be the saving grace in bringing back radio. Well, that dream is gonna get squashed if these new royalty rates go through...you can submit a petition at "Save Internet Radio" or "Please Keep Internet Radio Alive"....

But, I also found a link to Congress.org where you can get weekly email updates on how your senators and representatives are voting. In an age where media outlets can spin an issue so many ways that it doesn't even make sense, this is a nice simple and transparent way to make sure your representatives are representing your voice accurately...and if they're not, hopefully your voting behavior will change is response.
